Responsibility
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test software for manufacturing and production environments.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to identify testing requirements and implement scalable solutions.
- Troubleshoot and debug software and hardware integration issues to minimize downtime.
- Optimize existing test frameworks to improve efficiency, accuracy, and speed of production testing.
- Develop data-driven reporting tools to analyze test results and manufacturing performance metrics.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and quality assurance protocols in all software deployments.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on best practices in test automation.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies in IoT, embedded systems, and industrial automation to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in software development, with a focus on test automation or manufacturing systems.
- Proficiency in Python, C++, or Java for test script development and system integration.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, PyTest, JUnit) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong understanding of embedded systems, PLCs, or industrial protocols (e.g., Modbus, OPC UA).
- Familiarity with SQL, NoSQL databases, and data analysis tools for performance monitoring.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills in high-pressure manufacturing environments.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
