Responsibility
- Lead and mentor a team of ML researchers and data scientists to develop state-of-the-art pricing and risk management models.
- Drive innovation in quantitative analytics for Rates Options & Exotics, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Collaborate with trading, risk, and technology teams to implement and optimize ML-driven solutions.
- Stay ahead of industry trends in machine learning, deep learning, and quantitative finance to maintain a competitive edge.
- Design and execute research projects, from hypothesis formulation to model deployment and validation.
- Present findings and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Foster a culture of experimentation, continuous learning, and excellence within the research team.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and risk management standards in all research initiatives.
Qualifications
- PhD or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Quantitative Finance, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in machine learning research, with a focus on financial modeling or risk management.
- Proven track record of leading high-performing research teams in a quantitative or fintech environment.
- Expertise in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and other ML frameworks, as well as statistical modeling techniques.
- Deep understanding of derivatives pricing, risk analytics, and financial markets.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working in agile or fast-paced environments, with a focus on delivering scalable solutions.
