Responsibility
- Prepare and update patient charts accurately in compliance with U.S. healthcare standards.
- Verify patient insurance details and eligibility before appointments.
- Coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure all medical records are complete and up-to-date.
- Enter and maintain electronic health records (EHR) with precision.
- Assist in scheduling follow-up appointments and procedures as needed.
- Communicate professionally with patients and medical staff to clarify information.
- Ensure HIPAA compliance and patient data confidentiality at all times.
- Collaborate with the team to improve chart preparation processes and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in U.S. healthcare chart preparation or medical assisting.
- Familiarity with EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner, or similar).
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, coding (ICD-10, CPT), and insurance verification.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficient in English (written and verbal) with clear communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting with reliable internet access.
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) or equivalent is a plus.
- Experience working with U.S.-based clients or healthcare providers is highly preferred.
