As a Technical Delivery Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the end-to-end technical delivery of complex IT initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives, timelines, and quality standards. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, architects, and business stakeholders, to deliver scalable, secure, and innovative solutions that enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.

Responsibility
- Project Leadership: Lead and manage the technical delivery of large-scale IT projects from design to deployment, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business units, IT teams, and external vendors to define project scope, requirements, and deliverables.
- Technical Oversight: Provide technical guidance and oversight to development teams, ensuring best practices in software development, architecture, and integration.
- Risk & Issue Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate technical risks and issues, implementing proactive solutions to minimize project disruptions.
- Resource Allocation: Optimize resource allocation, including personnel, tools, and budgets, to maximize project efficiency and success.
- Agile & DevOps Practices: Champion Agile methodologies and DevOps practices to streamline development, testing, and deployment processes.
- Compliance & Security: Ensure all technical deliverables comply with regulatory requirements, security standards, and UOB’s internal policies.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive post-implementation reviews to identify lessons learned and opportunities for process and technical enhancements.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in IT project management, technical delivery, or software development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Technical Expertise: Strong background in software development lifecycle (SDLC), system architecture, cloud computing (AWS/Azure), and API integrations.
- Project Management: Proven track record of managing large-scale IT projects using Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies. PMP, PRINCE2, or SAFe certification is a plus.
- Leadership Skills: Exceptional ability to lead cross-functional teams, mentor technical staff, and drive collaboration across departments.
- Banking/FinTech Knowledge: Experience in the financial services or banking industry is highly advantageous, with familiarity in digital banking, payments, or core banking systems.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering innovative and scalable solutions.
