Responsibility
- Assist veterinarians in surgical procedures, including pre-op prep, anesthesia monitoring, and post-op care.
- Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as prescribed by the veterinarian.
- Provide emergency and critical care to injured or ill animals with urgency and precision.
- Conduct routine health check-ups, including vital sign assessments and diagnostic sample collection.
- Educate pet owners on preventative care, nutrition, and home treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with clinic protocols.
- Assist in radiography, laboratory tests, and dental procedures.
- Support a 24-hour care environment, including overnight shifts as needed.
Qualifications
- Certification or diploma in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent qualification).
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a veterinary clinic or hospital (fresh graduates with strong passion are encouraged to apply).
- Proven ability to handle animals with care and confidence, including restraint techniques.
- Knowledge of veterinary medical terminology, pharmacology, and surgical assisting.
- Excellent communication skills in English (additional Bahasa Indonesia is a plus).
- Ability to work under pressure in emergency situations with a calm and professional demeanor.
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills to collaborate with veterinarians and support staff.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts.
