As a Utility Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities by performing routine inspections, troubleshooting equipment issues, and implementing maintenance protocols. Responsibility
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on utility systems, including electrical, mechanical, and plumbing components.
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair equipment to ensure optimal functionality and compliance with safety standards.
- Conduct routine checks on machinery, HVAC systems, and other facility infrastructure to prevent failures.
- Document maintenance activities, including work orders, service reports, and inventory of spare parts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions efficiently.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory requirements to maintain a secure working environment.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment or system upgrades.
- Provide emergency response for critical failures to minimize operational disruptions.
Qualifications
- Diploma or vocational certification in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in utility maintenance, facility management, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and industrial machinery.
- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks involving lifting, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
- Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) is a plus.
