Responsibility
- Develop and implement strategic mine plans to optimize quarry operations, ensuring alignment with production targets and cost objectives.
- Conduct detailed geological and resource assessments to guide extraction processes and maximize yield.
- Oversee drilling, blasting, and excavation activities to maintain safety, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with environmental and safety teams to ensure adherence to local and international standards (e.g., ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001).
- Monitor operational performance using KPIs, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Prepare technical reports, feasibility studies, and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
- Lead cross-functional teams, including geologists, surveyors, and equipment operators, to achieve project milestones.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in mine planning and sustainability.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Mining Engineering, Geological Engineering, or related field (Masterâs preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in mine planning, quarry operations, or open-pit mining.
- Proficiency in mine planning software (e.g., Surpac, MineSight, Vulcan, or AutoCAD Civil 3D).
- Strong understanding of geological modeling, resource estimation, and pit optimization techniques.
- Experience with environmental impact assessments (EIA) and sustainability practices in mining.
- Familiarity with Indonesian mining regulations (e.g., Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources guidelines).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
