Responsibility
- Conduct regular inspections of mall equipment, including HVAC systems, electrical installations, and plumbing, to ensure functionality and compliance with safety regulations.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on store fixtures, escalators, elevators, and other mechanical systems to minimize downtime.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly, coordinating with external vendors or contractors when necessary.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to optimize the lifespan of mall infrastructure.
- Monitor energy consumption and recommend efficiency improvements to reduce operational costs.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, health and safety standards, and company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory of spare parts.
- Collaborate with the operations team to support store openings, renovations, or emergency repairs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in facility management, mall operations, or a similar engineering role.
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, and building automation.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical equipment.
- Familiarity with safety protocols, OSHA standards, and local regulatory requirements.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities to liaise with internal teams and external contractors.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
