Responsibility
- Wash, sanitize, and properly store all kitchen utensils, cookware, and dishware in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Maintain clean and organized dishwashing and storage areas to ensure a hazard-free workspace.
- Assist housekeeping staff with cleaning and restocking guest areas, including lobbies, restrooms, and common spaces.
- Follow strict hygiene protocols, including proper waste disposal and chemical handling.
- Support kitchen staff by preparing ingredients, restocking supplies, and assisting with basic food prep tasks as needed.
- Inspect all cleaned items for quality and re-clean as necessary to meet standards.
- Report any maintenance issues or supply shortages to the supervisor promptly.
- Adhere to all company policies, including punctuality, uniform standards, and workplace safety guidelines.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in dishwashing, housekeeping, or utility roles in hospitality, restaurants, or hotels is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy items (up to 20-25 kg), and perform repetitive tasks.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals, safety procedures, and proper handling of kitchen equipment.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate with kitchen, housekeeping, and front-of-house staff.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Familiarity with health and safety standards (e.g., HACCP, OSHA) is an advantage.
