Responsibility
- Wash, sanitize, and properly store all dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment according to hygiene standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dishwashing areas, storage rooms, and waste disposal zones.
- Assist housekeeping staff in cleaning guest rooms, common areas, and back-of-house facilities as needed.
- Follow strict health, safety, and sanitation protocols to comply with local and international hospitality regulations.
- Restock clean dishes, linens, and supplies for kitchen and dining staff in a timely manner.
- Operate and maintain dishwashing machines and other cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
- Collaborate with kitchen and service teams to ensure smooth workflow during peak hours.
- Report any maintenance issues, supply shortages, or safety hazards to supervisors immediately.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a dishwasher, housekeeping assistant, or in a similar utility role (preferably in hotels, resorts, or restaurants).
- Strong work ethic with the ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and proper handling procedures.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Ability to follow instructions and work both independently and as part of a team.
- Good physical stamina to lift, carry, and move heavy items (up to 20-25 kg) as needed.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Fluent in English (basic Indonesian language skills are a plus).
