Responsibility
- Wash, sanitize, and properly store all kitchen utensils, dishes, and equipment according to health and safety standards.
- Maintain clean and organized dishwashing and storage areas to ensure a hazard-free workspace.
- Assist housekeeping staff in cleaning guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities to uphold luxury standards.
- Follow strict hygiene protocols, including proper waste disposal and chemical handling.
- Restock dishwashing supplies and report any shortages or equipment malfunctions to supervisors.
- Support kitchen staff by preparing ingredients, cleaning workstations, and assisting with basic food prep tasks as needed.
- Adhere to all company policies, including uniform standards, punctuality, and professional conduct.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow during peak service hours.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in dishwashing, housekeeping, or utility roles within hospitality, hotels, or restaurants is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy items (up to 20-25 kg), and perform repetitive tasks.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals, sanitation practices, and safety procedures.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills to coordinate with kitchen and housekeeping staff.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in hospitality is advantageous.
