Responsibility
- Wash, sanitize, and properly store all dishes, glassware, utensils, and cookware using industrial dishwashing equipment or by hand.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area, including sinks, counters, and storage shelves.
- Assist in cleaning and sanitizing kitchen equipment, floors, walls, and storage areas to meet health and safety standards.
- Empty and dispose of trash and recycling bins regularly, ensuring proper waste segregation.
- Restock clean dishes, utensils, and supplies for the kitchen and dining areas as needed.
- Support the culinary team by preparing ingredients, peeling vegetables, or performing other basic food prep tasks when required.
- Monitor and report any maintenance issues with dishwashing equipment or kitchen facilities.
- Adhere strictly to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a dishwasher, kitchen helper, or in a similar utility role is preferred but not required.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20-25 kg (50 lbs).
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and hygiene.
- Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation practices (training provided).
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Fluency in English or Indonesian is a plus.
