Responsibility
- Operate, monitor, and maintain refrigeration systems, steam boilers, air compression units, and water treatment plants to ensure optimal performance and compliance with industry standards.
- Conduct regular inspections, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of utility equipment to minimize downtime and extend asset lifespan.
- Develop and implement energy-efficient practices to reduce operational costs and environmental impact while maintaining system reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess utility requirements, design system upgrades, and execute improvement projects.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols, regulatory guidelines, and company policies in all utility operations.
- Maintain accurate records of system performance, maintenance activities, and energy consumption for reporting and analysis.
- Lead emergency response efforts for utility-related incidents, including system failures or safety hazards, to ensure rapid resolution.
- Stay updated on advancements in utility engineering technologies and recommend innovations to enhance system efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelorās degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. Professional engineering certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in utilities management, with hands-on expertise in refrigeration, steam, air compression, or water treatment systems.
- Strong knowledge of industrial utility systems, HVAC, and energy management principles.
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools, SCADA systems, and maintenance software for system monitoring and control.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced industrial environment.
- Familiarity with safety standards (OSHA, ISO, etc.) and environmental regulations pertinent to utility operations.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with engineers, technicians, and management.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including on-call duties, to address urgent utility issues.
