Responsibility
- Perform structural design and analysis for steel frameworks, ensuring compliance with international standards (e.g., AISC, Eurocode, or local Indonesian regulations).
- Conduct loading and stress calculations for static and dynamic forces, including wind, seismic, and live loads.
- Develop detailed technical drawings and specifications for steel and ETFE systems using CAD/BIM software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla).
- Collaborate with architects and MEP engineers to integrate structural solutions with architectural and functional requirements.
- Oversee fabrication and installation processes, ensuring adherence to design specifications and quality control.
- Prepare and review structural reports, calculations, and documentation for client and regulatory submissions.
- Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and draftsmen, fostering a culture of innovation and precision.
- Stay updated on emerging materials and technologies in structural engineering, particularly for lightweight and sustainable systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from an accredited institution.
- 5+ years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on steel design and ETFE systems.
- Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD.Pro) and CAD/BIM tools.
- Strong knowledge of international design codes (AISC, Eurocode, or equivalent) and local Indonesian standards.
- Proven track record of delivering complex projects from concept to completion, including coordination with multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly to non-engineers.
- Experience with ETFE cushion systems, tensile structures, or lightweight facades is highly desirable.
- PE (Professional Engineer) license or equivalent certification is a plus.
