Responsibility
- Operate, monitor, and maintain refrigeration systems, steam boilers, air compression units, and water treatment plants to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
- Conduct regular inspections, preventive maintenance, and predictive analytics to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in utility systems, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Optimize energy consumption and resource utilization to reduce operational costs and enhance sustainability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute system upgrades, expansions, or replacements.
- Maintain accurate logs, reports, and documentation of system performance, maintenance activities, and compliance audits.
- Ensure adherence to local and international environmental, health, and safety (EHS) regulations in all utility operations.
- Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians on best practices for utility system management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in operating and maintaining industrial utility systems (refrigeration, steam, air compression, water treatment).
- Strong knowledge of PLC systems, SCADA, and industrial automation for monitoring and control.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, P&ID diagrams, and system schematics.
- Certifications in boiler operation, refrigeration handling, or water treatment are a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to maintenance and system optimization.
- Familiarity with ISO, OSHA, and environmental compliance standards.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities, with fluency in English.
