Responsibility
- Create and modify detailed AutoCAD drawings for stage rigging systems, including truss layouts, load calculations, and equipment placements.
- Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and rigging crews to ensure designs meet technical and safety standards.
- Interpret and incorporate client specifications, venue constraints, and industry regulations into accurate technical plans.
- Review and validate drawings for compliance with structural integrity, weight distribution, and rigging best practices.
- Maintain organized digital libraries of project files, revisions, and as-built documentation.
- Provide on-site support during event setup to troubleshoot and adjust designs as needed.
- Stay updated on the latest AutoCAD tools, plugins, and industry trends in rigging and event production.
- Assist in the preparation of bills of materials (BOM) and cost estimates for rigging projects.
Qualifications
- Proven experience (2+ years) as an AutoCAD Operator, Drafter, or similar role, preferably in stage rigging, event production, or structural engineering.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D and 3D) with a strong portfolio of technical drawings for rigging or similar applications.
- Familiarity with rigging hardware, load-bearing structures, and industry safety standards (e.g., OSHA, ANSI).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce error-free, scalable designs under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with cross-functional teams and clients.
- Knowledge of additional design software (e.g., SketchUp, SolidWorks) is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering diagrams.
- Willingness to travel to event sites across Bali as required.
