Responsibility
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on mechanical systems, equipment, and machinery to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues, implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime and disruptions.
- Conduct inspections and assessments of mechanical systems to identify potential problems and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate maintenance activities and ensure alignment with operational goals.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and repairs, using digital tracking systems.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to create a secure working environment for all team members.
- Assist in the installation, commissioning, and testing of new mechanical equipment and systems.
- Provide technical support and training to junior staff and operators on best practices for equipment maintenance.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including pumps, motors, conveyors, and HVAC systems.
- Experience with maintenance software and digital tracking systems is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to document and report maintenance activities clearly.
- Certifications in mechanical maintenance or related fields (e.g., OSHA, ISO) are highly desirable.
