As a QHSE Engineer, you will conduct comprehensive safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and implement corrective measures. Responsibility
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits of workplaces, equipment, and operational procedures to identify potential hazards and non-compliance issues.
- Develop, implement, and monitor QHSE policies, procedures, and programs in alignment with local regulations and international standards (e.g., ISO 45001, ISO 14001).
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action plans to prevent recurrence and improve safety performance.
- Provide QHSE training and awareness programs for employees, contractors, and stakeholders to foster a culture of safety and accountability.
- Collaborate with project managers and operational teams to integrate QHSE requirements into project planning, execution, and closure phases.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, audits, incidents, and training sessions, ensuring documentation is up-to-date and accessible for compliance purposes.
- Monitor environmental impacts of operations and recommend sustainable practices to reduce waste, emissions, and resource consumption.
- Stay abreast of emerging QHSE trends, regulatory changes, and best practices to continuously enhance organizational safety and environmental performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Certification in QHSE (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in QHSE roles, preferably in manufacturing, construction, logistics, or related industries.
- In-depth knowledge of local QHSE regulations (Indonesia) and international standards (ISO 45001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001).
- Proven experience in conducting risk assessments, safety audits, and incident investigations with a track record of implementing effective corrective actions.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in QHSE management systems, data analysis tools, and Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with ERP or QHSE software is advantageous.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken); knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is beneficial.
- Willingness to travel to various sites across Bali as required.
