Note: This position is based in Bali with occasional travel to our regional suppliers and partners across Indonesia.
Responsibility
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies to optimize procurement costs while maintaining quality standards for poultry production materials and equipment
- Lead supplier negotiations, contract management, and performance evaluations to ensure best-value partnerships across Bali and Indonesia
- Analyze spend data and market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities and risk mitigation strategies in the supply chain
- Collaborate with production and logistics teams to implement lean inventory management systems and reduce waste in procurement processes
- Design and maintain procurement KPIs and dashboards to track performance metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand and align purchasing activities with production schedules
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical sourcing standards in all purchasing activities
- Evaluate and implement procurement technologies (e.g., ERP systems, e-procurement tools) to enhance operational efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in food manufacturing or FMCG industries
- Proven track record in strategic sourcing, cost reduction, and supplier relationship management
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau) and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle)
- Excellent negotiation skills and ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies (Six Sigma, Kaizen)
- Familiarity with Indonesian procurement regulations and local supplier networks is a plus
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is advantageous
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment and adapt to dynamic business needs
