Responsibility
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems for transport infrastructure projects.
- Analyze complex engineering issues and propose innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical engineers, software developers, and project managers, to deliver integrated solutions.
- Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost-benefit analyses for electrical system upgrades or new installations.
- Ensure compliance with local and international electrical standards, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
- Oversee the testing, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical systems to guarantee reliability and performance.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Prepare detailed technical reports, documentation, and presentations for stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on transport, infrastructure, or industrial systems.
- Proven track record of leading complex engineering projects from conception to completion.
- Strong proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, ETAP, or similar) and simulation tools.
- In-depth knowledge of power distribution, control systems, and automation technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with teams and stakeholders.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
