Responsibility
- Process multi-state US payroll accurately and on time using ADP platforms (Workforce Now, Run, or GlobalView).
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations, including filings and reporting.
- Manage employee data updates, including new hires, terminations, and changes in compensation or benefits.
- Reconcile payroll accounts, resolve discrepancies, and generate reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams to streamline payroll processes and improve efficiency.
- Stay current with payroll legislation changes and implement updates to systems and procedures.
- Provide exceptional support to employees and management on payroll-related inquiries.
- Assist with year-end payroll activities, including W-2 preparation and audits.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as a US Payroll Specialist, with hands-on ADP system expertise.
- In-depth knowledge of multi-state payroll processing, tax withholdings, and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now, Run, or GlobalView (certification is a plus).
- Strong understanding of FLSA, FICA, and other payroll-related regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills, with a track record of accuracy.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting with minimal supervision.
- Superior communication and organizational skills to manage deadlines and prioritize tasks.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
