Responsibility
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records using Xero and other accounting software.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing and reconciliation.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external auditors to facilitate smooth audits.
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to improve efficiency.
- Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting to support strategic decision-making.
- Ensure tax compliance by preparing and filing local, state, and federal tax returns.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a senior role.
- Proficient in Xero; experience with QuickBooks or other ERP systems is advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting with minimal supervision.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
- Experience working with international clients or in a global accounting environment is a plus.
