Responsibility
- Develop and implement tax optimization strategies for clients, ensuring compliance with Indonesian and international regulations.
- Prepare and review financial statements, tax returns, and audit reports with meticulous accuracy.
- Provide strategic financial advice to clients on investments, mergers, and business expansions.
- Stay updated on changing tax laws and accounting standards (e.g., PPP 23/2018, OECD BEPS) and advise clients accordingly.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.
- Conduct risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies for financial and tax-related exposures.
- Liaise with government authorities, auditors, and legal teams to resolve disputes or inquiries.
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to training programs on accounting best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or Brevet A/B certification is a plus.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in accounting, tax consulting, or auditing (public accounting firm experience preferred).
- In-depth knowledge of Indonesian tax laws (e.g., PPh, PPN, PP 46/2013) and IFRS/GAAP standards.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Zahir, Accurate, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
- Experience working with multinational clients or expat businesses is highly desirable.
- Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- High ethical standards and confidentiality in handling sensitive financial data.
