Responsibility
- Tax Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement customized tax strategies to optimize clients’ financial positions while ensuring full compliance with local and international regulations.
- Compliance Oversight: Lead the preparation and review of tax filings, returns, and documentation for corporate and individual clients, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Client Advisory: Provide proactive tax advisory services, including M&A structuring, transfer pricing, and cross-border tax optimization.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate tax-related risks through audits, due diligence, and regulatory analysis.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and supervise a team of tax professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- Stakeholder Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, tax authorities, and external advisors to enhance service delivery.
- Process Improvement: Streamline tax workflows using technology and best practices to improve efficiency and scalability.
- Industry Insights: Stay ahead of tax law changes, treaties, and economic trends to provide cutting-edge solutions.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or Law. CPA, CA, or equivalent certification is highly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 8+ years in tax advisory, compliance, or management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role at an accounting firm or corporate tax department.
- Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of Indonesian tax laws (PPh, PPN, etc.) and familiarity with international tax frameworks (OECD, BEPS, DTAAs).
- Software Proficiency: Experience with tax software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, CCH, or local platforms) and advanced Excel skills.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret complex regulations, perform financial modeling, and provide data-driven recommendations.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal skills in English; fluency in Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
- Leadership: Proven track record of managing teams, client portfolios, and high-stakes projects under tight deadlines.
