Responsibility
- Assist pharmacists in dispensing prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
- Manage and organize pharmacy inventory, including stocking, labeling, and rotating medications.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting patients, answering inquiries, and processing transactions.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant pharmacy workspace in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Handle cashier duties, including processing payments, managing receipts, and reconciling daily sales.
- Assist in ordering and receiving pharmaceutical supplies while ensuring proper storage conditions.
- Support the pharmacist in maintaining patient records and confidentiality.
- Promote health and wellness products and provide basic information on over-the-counter medications.
Qualifications
- Minimum of a high school diploma; a certificate or diploma in Pharmacy or related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in a retail pharmacy, healthcare, or customer service role is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members.
- Basic knowledge of pharmaceutical terminology, inventory management, and POS systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a pharmacy setting.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, if required.
