Responsibility

  • Process and manage import documentation, including customs declarations, invoices, and packing lists.
  • Coordinate with shipping agents, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to ensure timely clearance of goods.
  • Verify compliance with local and international trade regulations, tariffs, and import laws.
  • Track shipment statuses and resolve any delays or discrepancies in collaboration with logistics teams.
  • Maintain accurate records of import transactions, costs, and inventory for auditing and reporting purposes.
  • Liaise with suppliers and internal departments to confirm order details, delivery schedules, and documentation requirements.
  • Prepare and submit reports on import activities, costs, and performance metrics to management.
  • Assist in resolving customs-related issues, including inspections, duties, or additional documentation requests.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (1-3 years) in import operations, customs clearance, or logistics coordination.
  • Strong understanding of Indonesian import regulations, tariffs, and trade compliance.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and familiarity with ERP or logistics software is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English and Indonesian.
  • High attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
