Responsibility
- Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and setting up equipment.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-treatment care.
- Manage patient records, including updating medical histories and treatment plans.
- Take and develop dental X-rays as directed by the dentist.
- Schedule appointments, handle patient inquiries, and manage front-desk operations.
- Maintain inventory of dental supplies and ensure the clinic is well-stocked.
- Adhere to strict infection control protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role.
- Certification or diploma in Dental Assisting from a recognized institution.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, instruments, and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and staff.
- Ability to work efficiently in a team and handle multiple tasks under pressure.
- Familiarity with digital X-ray systems and dental software is a plus.
- High attention to detail and commitment to patient confidentiality.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is advantageous.
