Responsibility
- Perform a wide range of diagnostic ultrasound procedures, including abdominal, thyroid, breast, KUB, and HBT scans, with precision and efficiency.
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to safety protocols.
- Prepare patients for procedures, explain the process, and address any concerns to ensure comfort and cooperation.
- Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to interpret ultrasound results and provide accurate diagnostic reports within established turnaround times.
- Maintain detailed and organized patient records, including images and clinical notes, in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Assist in the training and mentoring of junior staff or interns, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
- Stay updated with advancements in ultrasound technology and best practices through ongoing education and training.
- Ensure compliance with infection control, radiation safety, and patient confidentiality standards at all times.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Radiologic Technology, Sonography, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Certification as an Ultrasound Technologist or Sonographer (e.g., RDMS, RDCS, or equivalent) is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures in a clinical or hospital setting.
- Proficiency in operating ultrasound equipment and familiarity with PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) and RIS (Radiology Information System).
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and pathology relevant to ultrasound imaging.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, healthcare professionals, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to patient care, ethical practices, and continuous professional development.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
