Responsibility
- Perform a wide range of ultrasound scans, including whole abdomen, thyroid, breast, KUB (Kidneys, Ureter, Bladder), and HBT (Hepatobiliary Tract), adhering to turnaround time targets.
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process, addressing concerns, and ensuring their comfort and privacy.
- Capture high-quality diagnostic images and provide preliminary findings to radiologists or referring physicians.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including imaging results and technical data, in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and diagnostic accuracy.
- Stay updated with advancements in ultrasound technology and best practices through continuous education and training.
- Uphold strict confidentiality and ethical standards in handling patient information and medical data.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology, Ultrasound Technology, or a related field.
- Valid license or certification as an Ultrasound Technologist (e.g., ARDMS, RDMS, or equivalent).
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures.
- Proficiency in operating ultrasound machines and interpreting imaging results.
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and pathology relevant to ultrasound diagnostics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare teams.
- Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
