Responsibility
- Perform a variety of ultrasound scans, including whole abdomen, thyroid, breast, KUB, and HBT, adhering to established protocols and turnaround targets.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures while maintaining a high standard of care.
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring optimal performance and reporting any technical issues.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret and report diagnostic findings accurately.
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Educate patients on the ultrasound procedure, addressing any concerns and ensuring informed consent.
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols to maintain a sterile and safe working environment.
- Participate in continuous professional development and training to stay updated with advancements in ultrasound technology.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Diagnostic Medical Sonography, or a related field.
- Certification as an Ultrasound Technologist or equivalent professional credential.
- Proven experience in performing various ultrasound scans, with a strong understanding of anatomical structures.
- Excellent technical skills in operating ultrasound equipment and interpreting diagnostic images.
