Responsibility
- Perform high-quality ultrasound scans (abdominal, thyroid, breast, KUB, HBT, etc.) with accuracy and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with radiation safety protocols and maintain patient confidentiality.
- Prepare and position patients for procedures, explaining the process to ensure comfort and cooperation.
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, troubleshooting technical issues as needed.
- Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to interpret results and provide preliminary findings.
- Maintain detailed patient records and ensure timely reporting of diagnostic images.
- Adhere to turnaround time targets while upholding the highest standards of image quality.
- Stay updated with advancements in ultrasound technology and best practices in diagnostic imaging.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology, Medical Sonography, or a related field.
- Valid license or certification as an Ultrasound Technologist (e.g., ARDMS, RDMS, or equivalent).
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in diagnostic ultrasound imaging.
- Proficient in operating ultrasound machines and interpreting scan results.
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and pathology relevant to ultrasound procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
