Responsibility
- Conduct and analyze a wide range of clinical laboratory tests, including hematology, microbiology, chemistry, and immunology, with precision and accuracy.
- Operate and maintain advanced laboratory equipment, ensuring calibration and adherence to safety protocols.
- Prepare and examine biological specimens, such as blood, urine, and tissue samples, following standardized procedures.
- Document and report test results in compliance with laboratory and regulatory standards, ensuring confidentiality and data integrity.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to interpret findings and provide critical insights for patient diagnosis and treatment.
- Monitor inventory of laboratory supplies and reagents, placing orders as needed to maintain seamless operations.
- Adhere to strict quality control measures and participate in proficiency testing to uphold laboratory accreditation.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies, methodologies, and industry best practices to enhance laboratory efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Valid Professional License as a Medical Technologist (required).
- Drug Analyst certification is a significant advantage.
- Proven experience in a clinical or diagnostic laboratory setting, with a strong foundation in laboratory techniques.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using laboratory information systems (LIS) and other relevant software.
