Responsibility
- Perform a variety of ultrasound scans, including whole abdomen, thyroid, breast, KUB, and HBT, adhering to established protocols and turnaround targets.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures, explaining the process and addressing any concerns.
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring it is in optimal working condition.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate diagnostic information.
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, including images and reports.
- Follow infection control and safety procedures to maintain a sterile environment.
- Stay updated with advancements in ultrasound technology and techniques.
- Provide exceptional patient care, demonstrating empathy and professionalism at all times.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Sonography, or a related field.
- Certification as an Ultrasound Technologist (e.g., ARDMS or equivalent).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in diagnostic ultrasound imaging.
- Proficient in operating ultrasound equipment and interpreting results.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
