Responsibility
- Assist ophthalmologists and healthcare professionals in patient examinations and diagnostic procedures.
- Prepare and maintain clinical equipment and examination rooms to ensure a sterile and efficient environment.
- Provide exceptional patient care by greeting, guiding, and addressing inquiries with professionalism and empathy.
- Document patient information accurately and maintain up-to-date medical records in compliance with clinic protocols.
- Administer basic eye tests and assist in minor procedures under the supervision of medical staff.
- Educate patients on pre- and post-treatment care instructions to ensure optimal recovery and satisfaction.
- Manage appointment scheduling, follow-ups, and patient flow to enhance clinic efficiency.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to uphold the highest standards of clinical hygiene and safety.
Qualifications
- Diploma or certificate in Nursing, Medical Assisting, or a related healthcare field.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a clinical or healthcare setting, preferably in ophthalmology or general practice.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients and medical staff.
- Proficiency in using medical software and electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology and clinical procedures.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach with a commitment to delivering high-quality care.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
