Responsibility
- Assist in the safe transportation and transfer of patients between wards, departments, and treatment areas.
- Operate and maintain hospital equipment, including wheelchairs, stretchers, and trolleys, ensuring they are clean and functional.
- Deliver medical supplies, specimens, and documents to designated areas within the hospital.
- Support medical staff by setting up and preparing equipment for procedures and examinations.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment in patient areas and storage rooms.
- Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe and hygienic workplace.
- Assist in the movement of heavy equipment and furniture as required.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients, visitors, and staff, ensuring a positive experience.
Qualifications
- Minimum secondary education or equivalent; prior experience in a healthcare or logistical support role is advantageous.
- Physical fitness and ability to lift and move heavy objects safely.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Basic knowledge of hospital procedures and infection control practices.
