Responsibility
- Conduct high-quality ultrasound scans (abdomen, thyroid, breast, KUB, HBT, and other specialized exams) with precision and efficiency.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures while maintaining professionalism and empathy.
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, troubleshooting technical issues as needed.
- Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to interpret results and provide preliminary findings.
- Adhere to strict turnaround time targets without compromising diagnostic accuracy.
- Maintain detailed patient records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and protocols.
- Stay updated on advancements in ultrasound technology and best practices in diagnostic imaging.
- Participate in quality assurance programs to uphold the highest standards of imaging excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology, Sonography, or a related field (required).
- Certification or licensure as an Ultrasound Technologist (e.g., ARDMS, ARRT, or equivalent).
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in diagnostic ultrasound imaging.
- Proficient in performing abdominal, thyroid, breast, and OB/GYN ultrasounds.
- Strong technical skills in operating ultrasound machines and interpreting images.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with healthcare compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA, local regulations).
