Responsibility
- Perform a variety of ultrasound scans, including whole abdomen, thyroid, breast, KUB, and HBT, adhering to established protocols and turnaround targets.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures, explaining the process and addressing any concerns.
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring it is in optimal working condition and reporting any malfunctions.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate and high-quality diagnostic images.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Follow infection control and safety procedures to minimize risks to patients and staff.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in ultrasound technology and techniques through continuous education and training.
- Assist in the training and orientation of new staff members, sharing best practices and ensuring adherence to protocols.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
- Licensed Radiologic Technologist with a specialization in Ultrasound.
- Proven experience as an Ultrasound Technologist, preferably in a hospital or diagnostic center setting.
- Strong knowledge of ultrasound procedures, anatomy, and physiology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality in diagnostic imaging.
