Responsibility
- Oversee daily fleet operations, including scheduling, routing, and dispatching.
- Manage and lead a team of drivers, ensuring adherence to safety and performance standards.
- Coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to optimize transportation logistics.
- Monitor and maintain fleet vehicles to ensure they are in optimal working condition.
- Implement and enforce company policies and procedures related to trucking operations.
- Analyze operational data to identify areas for improvement and cost reduction.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal transportation regulations.
- Provide training and development opportunities for drivers and operational staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in trucking operations, fleet management, or a similar role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in using transportation management software and tools.
- Knowledge of local and international transportation regulations.
