As a Customer Quality Engineer, you will serve as the bridge between our clients and internal teams, driving root cause analysis, implementing corrective actions, and delivering transparent communication to stakeholders. Responsibility
- Lead customer quality investigations, identifying root causes and implementing effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Develop and present detailed quality reports and dashboards to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clarity and actionability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, logistics, R&D) to resolve quality issues and improve processes.
- Conduct on-site and remote audits to verify compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO, Six Sigma).
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to product quality, customer complaints, and defect rates.
- Facilitate customer feedback sessions and translate insights into actionable quality improvements.
- Train and mentor teams on quality control methodologies and best practices.
- Ensure all documentation adheres to regulatory and company standards for traceability and accountability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean, ISO 9001) are a plus.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in quality engineering, preferably in manufacturing, logistics, or customer-facing roles.
- Proven expertise in root cause analysis (RCA) tools such as 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagrams, or 8D Problem Solving.
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills, with proficiency in tools like Excel, Power BI, or Tableau.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English; ability to simplify complex technical issues for non-technical audiences.
- Experience with quality management systems (QMS) and compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO, AS9100).
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to client sites or production facilities as needed.
