Responsibility
- Coordinate and supervise the movement of trucks and equipment on the rig site.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and emergency procedures.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and vehicles to ensure they are in optimal working condition.
- Communicate effectively with rig personnel using hand signals and other designated communication methods.
- Monitor and report any safety hazards or operational issues to the appropriate authorities.
- Assist in the training and orientation of new personnel on rig safety and operational procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment movement, inspections, and any incidents.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure the efficient and safe execution of drilling operations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a similar role within the oil and gas industry.
- Thorough knowledge of rig emergency signals and procedures.
- Familiarity with hand signals and safe working procedures for rig operations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
- Certification in rig safety and operations is a plus.
- Willingness to work in remote locations and adhere to a flexible schedule.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training is an advantage.
