Responsibility
- Prepare and manage detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities (BOQ), and tender documents for construction projects.
- Conduct feasibility studies and provide cost-benefit analyses to support project planning and decision-making.
- Negotiate and administer contracts with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure fair and competitive pricing.
- Monitor project expenditures, track budget performance, and provide regular financial reports to stakeholders.
- Identify and mitigate cost risks while optimizing value engineering opportunities.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to align designs with budget constraints.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
- Resolve disputes and claims related to contract variations, delays, or cost overruns.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Estimator in the construction industry.
- Proven expertise in cost estimation, tendering, and contract administration for residential, commercial, or infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in QS software (e.g., CostX, WinQS, or similar) and Microsoft Excel for financial modeling.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and local market rates in Indonesia/Bali.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.
