As a Quantity Surveyor, you will oversee cost estimation, budget management, and financial planning to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest standards. Responsibility
- Develop and manage project budgets, cost estimates, and financial forecasts to ensure profitability and cost control.
- Prepare and analyze tender documents, contracts, and procurement strategies for construction projects.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, verify measurements, and assess material/ labor costs.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to align project specifications with budgetary constraints.
- Implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality or safety standards.
- Track project expenditures, prepare monthly cost reports, and provide financial insights to stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
- Resolve financial disputes and negotiate with suppliers/vendors to secure optimal pricing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in construction, preferably in Bali or Indonesia.
- Proficient in cost estimation software (e.g., Candy, WinQS) and MS Office (Excel, Project).
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, BOQ (Bill of Quantities), and FIDIC standards.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills in English and Indonesian.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with Bali’s construction market and local building codes is a plus.
- Certification from a recognized professional body (e.g., RICS, AIQS) is advantageous.
