Responsibility
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Develop and implement comprehensive safety policies and procedures tailored to construction projects.
- Provide safety training and orientation to new employees and contractors.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions.
- Monitor and enforce the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety protocols on-site.
- Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to integrate safety measures into project planning.
- Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training sessions.
- Stay updated with local and international safety standards and regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Safety Officer in the construction industry.
- Certification in Occupational Health and Safety (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of construction safety regulations and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively train and engage with staff.
- Ability to conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
- Proficient in preparing safety reports and maintaining documentation.
- Willingness to travel to various project sites across Bali.
