Responsibility
- Translate technical documents, contracts, and project specifications between Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Provide real-time interpretation during meetings, site visits, and negotiations.
- Ensure accuracy and clarity in all translated materials, adhering to industry terminology.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to facilitate smooth communication.
- Review and edit translated content to maintain consistency and quality.
- Assist in drafting multilingual reports, presentations, and correspondence.
- Act as a cultural liaison to bridge understanding between international teams.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive information.
Qualifications
- Fluency in Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Malaysia (written and verbal).
- Proven experience in translation or interpretation, preferably in the construction sector.
- Strong understanding of construction terminology and processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and translation tools.
- Degree in Linguistics, Translation, or a related field is a plus.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
