Responsibility
- Develop and refine cost plans and Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for residential construction projects, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project specifications.
- Conduct thorough QA checks on estimates, identifying discrepancies and recommending adjustments to improve cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to gather project requirements and translate them into detailed cost estimates.
- Prepare and present comprehensive reports on project costs, timelines, and resource allocation to stakeholders and senior management.
- Manage and update estimating databases, ensuring all data is current, organized, and accessible for future projects.
- Assist in tender processes by providing accurate cost assessments and supporting documentation for bids.
- Monitor market trends and material costs to ensure estimates reflect current pricing and availability.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to streamline estimating processes and enhance team productivity.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in residential construction estimating or a similar role.
- Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., CostX, Bluebeam, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy in cost calculations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with hybrid work models and the ability to manage tasks independently while meeting deadlines.
- Knowledge of local construction regulations, materials, and labor costs in Bali is a plus.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is advantageous.
