Responsibility
- Prepare and evaluate tender documents, including Bill of Quantities (BOQ), for accurate cost estimation and bidding processes.
- Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring alignment with client expectations and financial constraints.
- Monitor and control costs throughout the project lifecycle, identifying variances and implementing corrective actions.
- Administer contracts, including drafting, negotiating, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Process and verify progress claims and payment certifications for subcontractors and suppliers.
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for new projects and design changes.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to optimize value engineering and cost-saving strategies.
- Maintain detailed financial records and reports for stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in quantity surveying, preferably in residential, commercial, or hospitality construction.
- Proficient in cost estimation software (e.g., Candy, WinQS, or similar) and Microsoft Excel for financial modeling.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts (e.g., FIDIC, JCT) and local regulations in Indonesia.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills to liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
- Experience in tendering processes, BOQ preparation, and progress claim management.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
- Familiarity with Bali’s construction market and supply chain is a plus.
