In this role, you will play a pivotal part in cost estimation, tender preparation, and contract administration for Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) projects. Your expertise will ensure accurate financial planning, risk mitigation, and profitable project execution while maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance.

Responsibility
- Lead the preparation and submission of competitive tenders for M&E projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with client requirements.
- Conduct detailed cost estimations and feasibility studies for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems.
- Negotiate with suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors to secure cost-effective materials and services without compromising quality.
- Develop and maintain BoQs (Bills of Quantities), cost plans, and financial reports for stakeholders.
- Perform risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to protect project margins.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to align budgetary constraints with design and execution plans.
- Monitor project cash flow and provide regular financial updates to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field (preferably with M&E specialization).
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in quantity surveying, with at least 5 years in M&E tendering for construction projects.
- Proven track record in successful tender submissions and cost control for large-scale M&E projects.
- Strong proficiency in cost estimation software (e.g., Candy, WinQS, or similar) and MS Excel for financial modeling.
- In-depth knowledge of M&E systems, materials, and market pricing trends in Southeast Asia.
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a commercial acumen.
- Familiarity with FIDIC, JCT, or other standard construction contracts.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills in English (written and verbal).
