Responsibility
- Develop and maintain accurate cost plans and Bill of Quantities (BOQs) for commercial construction projects.
- Conduct quality assurance checks on estimates to ensure precision and compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to gather and analyze project data.
- Generate comprehensive reports to support decision-making and project planning.
- Manage and organize project-related data to improve accessibility and efficiency.
- Assist in the preparation of bids and proposals for potential clients.
- Monitor project budgets and provide insights to optimize cost-effectiveness.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in construction estimating.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in estimating or a similar role within the commercial construction sector.
- Proficiency in estimating software and tools (e.g., Bluebeam, PlanSwift, or similar).
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of local construction regulations and standards is a plus.
- Familiarity with hybrid work environments and remote collaboration tools.
