Responsibility
- Consult with clients to understand their travel preferences, budgets, and special requirements to create personalized itineraries.
- Research and recommend destinations, accommodations, transportation, and activities tailored to client needs.
- Negotiate and secure the best rates with hotels, airlines, tour operators, and other travel partners.
- Provide expert advice on visa requirements, travel insurance, health/safety protocols, and local customs.
- Manage bookings, confirmations, and payments while ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
- Handle client inquiries, complaints, and last-minute changes with professionalism and efficiency.
- Stay updated on travel trends, promotions, and industry news to offer competitive and innovative solutions.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and packages for target audiences.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in travel consulting, tourism, or a related customer service role.
- Strong knowledge of global travel destinations, with a focus on Southeast Asia (Indonesia in particular).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Proficient in using GDS systems (e.g., Amadeus, Sabre) or travel booking software; training can be provided for the right candidate.
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and time-management abilities.
- Sales-driven mindset with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Ability to work under pressure, adapt to changing priorities, and handle multiple clients simultaneously.
