Responsibility
- Develop and optimize route plans to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation of goods.
- Oversee vehicle maintenance schedules to ensure fleet reliability and compliance with safety regulations.
- Manage and supervise driver teams, including performance evaluations, training, and adherence to company policies.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with local and national transportation laws, including licensing, permits, and safety standards.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align transportation activities with production and delivery timelines.
- Implement fuel efficiency and cost-saving initiatives to optimize fleet operations.
- Maintain accurate records of transportation logs, maintenance reports, and incident documentation.
- Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments to mitigate operational hazards.
Qualifications
- Minimum Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transportation, or a related field.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in transport supervision, fleet management, or logistics planning.
- Strong knowledge of route optimization software and GPS tracking systems.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and guide drivers and support staff.
- Familiarity with Indonesian transportation regulations and safety compliance standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
- Outstanding problem-solving and decision-making abilities in high-pressure environments.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia; additional local dialects are a plus.
